Estimate deployment tasks
The following estimating approach provides details of each logical task so that the estimates can be applied to any piece of work.
No distinction is made between the tasks carried out in test and the tasks carried out in production in terms of how long the tasks take to complete. The only difference is that in production there are more barriers to starting the work because of the need for access to user IDs, firewalls, and change control.
