Importing shared projects

If you exported a project for sharing by using the Project Interchange export feature, you can import it into your workspace or file system while maintaining project structure and metadata.

To import projects from a Project Interchange ZIP file:

1. Select File > Import.

2. Select Project Interchange and click Next.

3. In the From ZIP file field, enter the full path of the ZIP file that contains the shared projects. Click Browse to locate the ZIP file on the file system. The Import wizard lists the projects that are in the ZIP file.

4. Select the projects that you want to import.
   • Click Select All to select all projects in the window.

   • Click Deselect All to clear all the check boxes.

   • Click Select Referenced to automatically select projects that are referenced by any of the currently selected projects.

5. Click Finish.

The wizard imports the selected projects, including project structure and metadata, to your project workspace.
