Specifying the display time of a frame or animation
You can specify how long a frame, a group of frames, or an animation is displayed when played.
To specify the display time:
- If you want to specify the display time for a single image frame, select the frame that you want to specify. SelectEdit > Frame Properties.
- In the Delay time field, enter the length of time that you would like your image to appear in milliseconds.
- Close the dialog.
- If you want to specify the display time of an entire animation, select Edit > Change Total Animation Time and enter the desired display time in the Seconds field. You can also adjust the display time relative to the original time by entering a value in the Times longer field. For example, if your original display time is 2 seconds, and you enter 2 in the Times longer field, your animation would now become 4 seconds long.
Hint: If you want to specify the delay time for several frames, select the frames and then select Edit > Change Properties of Selected Frames and specify the delay time.
