Specifying the transition methods (disposal methods)
The disposal method specifies the way in which frames transition from one to the next.
To specify the disposal method:
- Select Edit > Frame Properties.
- From the Disposal methods drop-down menu, you can select one of the following:
- Not defined AnimatedGIF Designer treats this option the same as the Leave the image as is option.
- Leave the image as is The image remains in the animation for the duration of the animation.
- Restore to the background color The image is replaced with the background color before it is replaced with the next image.
- Restore to the previous state Before the original image is replaced with the next one, the animation is restored to the state it was in before the original image was displayed. Note that some browsers and applications do not support this option.
- Close the dialog to accept the settings.
