Inserting images

AnimatedGIF Designer allows you to insert existing image files as frames into new or existing animations.

You can insert the following image file types: WebArt files (*.mif), GIF files (*.gif), JPEG files (*jpg, *.jpeg, *jpe), PNG files (*.png), TIFF files (*.tif, *.tiff), FlashPix files (*.fpx), Photo CD files (*.pcd), and DCM files (*.dcm). You can also cut and paste images files from other programs or import images from TWAIN-compliant devices.

To insert an existing image file:

  1. Select the frame beside which you would like to insert the image. If you are creating a new animation, select the Attribute frame.

  2. Select Edit > Insert Image. If you are importing an image from a TWAIN-compliant device, select Edit > Insert Image from TWAIN device.

  3. Select the image file you want to use in the animation, and click Open. The image will be inserted into the frame that you selected and the existing frames will shift one frame to the right.
