Install on Solaris

IBM WebSphere Portal provides flexible deployment options ranging from proof-of-concept where we can examine and test functionality to a highly available and scalable production environment.

• Set up a stand-alone production server on Solaris
  Set up a stand-alone production environment when you do not need a robust clustered environment. A stand-alone server deployment is also useful to determine and validate the needs of the deployment. We can examine and test the functions and features to decide how to accomplish business goals.
• Set up a cluster on Solaris
  Clusters enable you to scale the IBM WebSphere Portal configuration. Clusters also enable enterprise applications to be highly available because requests are automatically routed to the running servers in the event of a failure.
• Install Web Content Manager into an existing Server installation on Solaris
  If you initially installed the IBM WebSphere Portal Server installation, we can purchase the Content license agreement and install the IBM Web Content Manager features into your existing installation.
