Prerequisites

Single server: Prepare the Windows operating system

Review the System requirements for the operating system.

Choose one of the following installation methods to install IBM WebSphere Portal:

• Developer mode: Install with GUI on Windows
  We can use the IBM Installation Manager to help install IBM WebSphere Portal and IBM WAS in a stand-alone environment.
• Developer mode: Install with response file on Windows
  First install IBM Installation Manager. Then use a response file to install IBM WebSphere Portal and IBM WAS. Record response files on the same OS you plan for the installation. For multiple operating systems, record a response file for each operating system.
