Demoting page
After you promote page on the target server, you can demote the page so that the page is no longer visible on the target server. The page returns to a published state.
If an old version of the page with the same unique name exists, the old page becomes the promoted page again.
To demote a page from the target server, perform the following steps:
- Navigate to the Site Management page by clicking Administration -> Site Management.
- If necessary, select the server where the promoted page resides by selecting the it from the pull-down list.
- Click on the plus sign ( + ) next to the server name to expand the server site tree.
- Right click on the promoted page and select Demote this page.
A message displays saying that the page was successfully demoted.
