Create a file resource component

You create a file resource component when you want to reuse a file resource in multiple places in your Web site.

1. From an authoring portlet, click New > Component > File Resource .

2. Enter identification information for the component.

3. Click Choose File to select a file to store in the file resource component.

4. If workflows are enabled for components, select a workflow.

5. Set access properties.

6. Save the component form.
