Deleting the user registry configurations on an HP-UX
After deploying WebSphere Portal, you may find that you no longer need some of the LDAP entity types, realms, realm base entries, repositories, etc. that you created. You can delete these configurations to achieve the proper user registry configuration. To delete the user registry configurations:
- Deleting the LDAP entity type on HP-UX
If you made changes to your LDAP user registry and no longer require an entity type that you created, you can delete it.
- Deleting the base entry on HP-UX
If you made changes to your LDAP user registry and no longer require a base entry that you created, you can delete it.
- Deleting the LDAP group member on HP-UX
If you made changes to your LDAP user registry and no longer require the group member that you created, you can delete the group member from the LDAP user registry.
- Deleting the realm on HP-UX
If you made changes to your WebSphere Portal and no longer require a realm that you created, you can delete the realm from the user registry.
- Deleting the realm base entry on HP-UX
If you made changes to your realm and no longer require the base entry that created for the realm, you can delete it.
- Deleting the repository on HP-UX
If you have made changes to your company and no longer require the use of a repository within your default federated repository, you can delete the repository from your configuration.
