Deleting a blog or blog library

If you are the owner of a blog site, you have Manager access and can delete any blog, blog pages, comments, or blog posts on the site that you own.

Blogs and blog libraries use the template libraries provided by IBM Lotus Web Content Management. To delete the template library used to create your blog or blog library, delete the Web Content Viewer that renders your content on a page and delete the template library used to create the blog or blog library.

  1. Hover by the portlet title bar, and click on the drop-down menu to open a menu of options.

  2. Click Delete to remove the Web Content Viewer that displays the content of your blog or blog library.

You can configure another Web Content Viewer to point to the template library that you originally planned to delete.

  3. Go to Administration > WebSphere Portal > Portal Content > Web Content Libraries.

  4. Click

on the library you would like to delete.
