Add existing blogs or blog libraries to a page
You can add a JSR 286 Web Content Viewer to a page to point to an existing blog or blog library on the site.
Refer to the following steps only when you are adding a Web Content Viewer portlet from the Page Properties menu and configuring this Web Content Viewer to point to an existing blog or blog library.
To create a new blog or blog library, use the Customize link to add a blog or blog library to a page.
- After adding a JSR 286 Web Content Viewer to a page, click on the drop-down menu located in the Web Content Viewer title bar, and select Edit Shared Settings.
- By Content Type, select Content Item.
- By Content, click Edit, and select an existing blog from the library drop-down menu.
- Expand Content by Site Area.
For example, click Content by Site Area > Blog > Central (to locate a specific blog library template) or Content by Site Area > Blog > Blog template name.
- Select a blog or blog library to render in the Web Content Viewer, and click OK.
- If you added the Web Content viewer to the page using the Page Properties menu, configure the Broadcasting settings of the Web Content viewer.
- Expand Advanced Options to view the Links section.
- Ensure the Broadcast links to option is set to None or This page.
- Ensure the Receive Links from option, is set to This Portlet Only Or Other portlets and this portlet.
