Deployment for Production

If you have a WAR file and a deployment configuration defined, you can deploy your application for production.

1. In the Eclipse Project Explorer, right-click the project and click the following:

   • If you are deploying to an application server, for example, IBM WebSphere Application Server CE.

     Application Server WAR | Build WAR for production deployment

     For example, IBM WebSphere Application Server.

   • If you are deploying to a portal environment. For example, IBM WebSphere Portal server.

     Portal Server WAR | Build Portal WAR

2. At the prompt, specify where the WAR is to be saved.
