Specify default content settings

You define the default settings for content items in the "Default Content Settings" view of the authoring template form.

When specifying default settings for the content form generated from the authoring template, you can define two kinds of information:

Standard item metadata Such as identification information or workflow settings.
Element-specific information Such as the default value of the element and properties related to how the element is displayed or processed. In addition you can enter help text for each element or apply a customized JSP file to tailor how the element is rendered in the form.
