Composite application concepts

Refer to these concepts as needed when you work with application templates and applications.

• User access to templates and applications
  First, assign user access to application templates and template categories using the Resource Permissions portlet. Then create and manage roles for application users using the Roles portlet. Finally, assign application users to membership roles using the Members portlet.

• Application membership
  Use the Members portlet to view individuals and groups working with the application according to their assigned roles. If you have permission to manage application membership, you use the Members portlet to add and remove members to the application and assign membership roles. From the menu of an application page, click Assign Application Members to display the Members portlet.
