-Xnocompressedrefs

Disables the use of compressed references.

-Xnocompressedrefs

(64-bit only) To enable compressed references, use the -Xcompressedreferences option. For more information, see Compressed references. From service refresh 4, compressed references are enabled by default for all platforms other than z/OS, but only when the value of the -Xmx garbage collector option is less than or equal to 25 GB. Before service refresh 4, compressed references were disabled by default for all platforms.

You cannot include this option in an options file. You must specify this option on the command line, or by using the IBM_JAVA_OPTIONS environment variable.
