Security Token Service modules - Federation

The Security Token Service accepts WS-Trust messages for validation and exchange of one token type for another. STS artifacts consist of modules, templates, and chains. STS is a component of the federation runtime.

1. Token module prerequisites.

   The Attribute Mapping module	Set up attribute sources.
   The Username Token module	Set up server connections
   The LTPA module	Import the LTPA key file.
   The Default Mapping module	Import the JavaScript rule file.

2. View available module instances

3. Create a new template or use an existing one.

4. Create a new module chain.

5. Use the Properties tab inside of the module chain for the module to configure properties.
