Characters disallowed for authorization rule names
Certain characters are disallowed for authorization rule names. These characters cannot be used in the name of an authorization rule when we use the Web Portal Manager or pdadmin commands.

- Colon (:)
- Comma (,)
- Double quotation (")
- Equal sign (=)
- Exclamation point (!)
- Left angle bracket (<)
- Left parenthesis (()
- Plus sign (+)
- Number sign (#)
- Right angle bracket (>)
- Right parenthesis ())
- Semicolon (;)
- Vertical bar (|)
A valid authorization rule name is an alphanumeric string that is not case-sensitive. String values are expected to be characters that are part of the local code set. Spaces are not allowed.
