Characters allowed for secure domain names

A valid local domain name is an alphanumeric, case-sensitive string. String characters are expected to be characters that are part of the local code set.

The following characters, numbers, and special characters can be used for secure domain names during use of the Web Portal Manager or pdadmin commands. For example, for US English, secure domain names can contain a combination of the following characters:

We cannot use a space in the domain name. The minimum and maximum lengths of the domain name, if there are limits, are imposed by the underlying registry.
