Manage user registries

This appendix contains a subset of user registry tasks specific to installing Security Verify Access.

We might need more information about common administrative tasks for our particular registry (tasks that are not specific to ISAM). See the documentation that came with our user registry product.

• LDAP-specific tasks
  LDAP is a protocol that runs over TCP/IP. The LDAP protocol standard includes low-level network protocol definitions plus data representation and handling.
• Novell-specific tasks
  The Novell eDirectory can be configured as an ISAM user registry.
