Local management interface

The appliance provides the local management interface (LMI), which is a browser-based graphical user interface for local, single appliance management. To log in to the LMI, from your web browser go to the IP address or host name of the appliance. The following web browsers are supported:

• Windows
  • Google Chrome v27 or later
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer v11 or later
  • Mozilla Firefox v17 or later
• Linux /AIX /Solaris
  • Mozilla Firefox v17 or later

When logging in for the first time, use the default credentials...

• User Name: admin
• Password: admin

...then use the first-time configuration pages to change the password.

To log out of the local management interface, click Logout.

A customizable access banner can be presented on the local management interface login page. Use the Login Screen Header and Login Screen Message properties on the Administrator Settings page to set the access banner content.
