Change and reset forgotten passwords

Before completing these steps. specify forgotten password information.

When we forget a password, we must answer the challenge questions correctly and change a password. The new password replaces the old password for your account. Depending on how the system is configured, you can either specify a new password or have the password automatically generated by the system. The generated password is sent to the e-mail address that is specified in your personal profile.

If password synchronization is enabled and your account is an individual account, the password is changed for all of your individual accounts. For sponsored accounts or if password synchronization is not enabled, the password changes for only the current account.
