Manage activities

We can use the Identity Service Center to act on activities that are assigned to you.

An administrator can show or hide the user comment field from the page. An administrator can also configure the justification field either as required or optional for approving or rejecting the activity. An administrator can also configure the justification as a required or optional for work order activity. An administrator can also hide the justification field from the page. Contact the system administrator if to change the behavior of the justification field.

An activity is an action item that is displayed in your activities list as part of a workflow process and requires your action. We can use the Identity Service Center to view your activities, and to act on an activity. We can view only those attributes for which we are granted read permission.

If the activity is for user re-certification in which we must specify review actions instead of simple decision actions, the activity is marked with an icon and we are redirected to the Self-Service console. .

  1. Log on to Identity Service Center.

  2. Click Manage Activities > My Activities. The Manage Activities and Decisions page is displayed.

  3. Optional: We can filter the activities displayed. We can enter a string in the Search field to search for activities that contain the string. We can also use the quick search categories to narrow the list of activities displayed.

  4. Select the activity.

    • Click the activity card to take immediate action.

    • Click View Details to view more information about an activity before you act on the request.

  5. Type the reason for your decision and any additional user comments. User comments are not applicable for the Compliance and Request for Information activity.

  6. Complete the activity.
    • For an approval activity, click Approve or Reject.
    • For a work order activity, click Successful, Warning, or Failure.
    • For a compliance alert activity, select Correct non-compliance or Defer.
    • For a request for information activity, click Provide Additional Information to specify the additional requested information.
    Your action is processed and the activity card is updated appropriately.

We can continue to work on your activities, review previously completed activities, or exit from the Manage Activities and Decisions page.
