Shared secret properties

Shared secret properties are used to configure the level of protection of the shared secret code.

Table 1 defines the properties used to configure the level of protection of the shared secret code..

The shared secret is used by an account owner to retrieve a new or changed password for an account when the system is configured to not email passwords in the clear (that is, the value of enrole.workflow.notifypassword=false). This property determines whether the stored shared secret is hashed for additional protection.

enrole.sharedsecret.hashed
	Do not change this property key and value unless you are a qualified administrator. Specifies whether the shared secret code is hashed (secure) or not hashed (not secure). Values include. true – Store the shared secret as hashed. false – Store the shared secret as not hashed. Example (default). enrole.sharedsecret.hashed=false
