Manage the log configuration

We can view component-specific and IBM Security Identity Manager virtual appliance log files to troubleshoot virtual appliance issues. We can also configure IBM Security Identity Manager logging related properties.

  1. From the top-level menu of the Appliance Dashboard, select Manage > Maintenance > Log Retrieval and Configuration.

  2. Select the product from the tabs to view the available logs. See Retrieving logs.

  3. Optional: Click Configure to configure the logs. For a set of configuration tasks, see Configure logs.
