Identity Service Center user interface customization
The Identity Service Center user interface is highly customizable. We can change most of the screen text, icons, graphics, help file content, and layout. We can also change the contents of many user interface elements, such as the home page, user cards, and access cards. We can customize the Identity Service Center user interface in the following ways:
- Copying and modifying the customizable files that are installed with ISIM.
- Replacing the icons and graphics.
When the customized files are placed in the appropriate location, ISIM server can find and use them. Without customization, we can use the Identity Service Center user interface to achieve goals such as these:
- Request access to applications
- View the requests
- Location of Identity Service Center customizable files
- Customization of Identity Service Center files
- User interface elements affected by view definitions
- Enabling Identity Service Center as the default user interface
- Login page customization
- Customize the page header
- Customize the home page
- Customize the scope of user lists for tasks
- Customization of styles, icons, and labels in Identity Service Center
- Customize the Select Me option
- Customize the context root
- Request Access wizard
- View Access wizard
- Manage Activities wizard
- Redirecting help content
- Supporting more languages
