Enable password resetting

Users or administrators with the correct access control item permissions can reset user passwords generated by ISIM. New passwords are manually specified within the limits of the password policy. Configure the system to use either:

• Reset Passwords function
• Change Passwords function

The options are not available at the same time. If we choose to enable the Reset Passwords function, we also have the option of showing or hiding the generated password.

To enable password resetting.

1. From the navigation tree, select...
   Set System Security > Set Security Properties

2. Clear the Enable password editing check box, and click OK.

3. On the Success page, click Close.
