Verify WebSphere Portal installation with iSeries Navigator

iSeries Navigator (V5R2) is GUI component of IBM iSeries Access for Windows (5722-XW1) used for administering iSeries servers from Windows desktops.

To view what products are currently installed...

  1. Start iSeries Navigator and click through....

    iSeries_system_name (right-click) | Inventory | Collect | Software | OK | Management Central Section | Endpoint Systems | iSeries_system_name | Configuration and Service | Software | Installed Products

  2. A list of installed products is displayed. Verify that the following three items are in the list:

    WebSphere Portal Server 5.0
    WebSphere Portal Server 5.0 driver files for iSeries
    WebSphere Portal Server 5.0 files for iSeries
