STATUS (Retrieve Status Information from a Remote System)

 

The STATUS i5/OS® FTP client subcommand displays status information of a remote system.

 

FTP client subcommand

STAtus [name]

name

The name of the remote directory or file for which you request the status information. It is not a required parameter.

The i5/OS FTP server application does not support this name parameter.

If there is no parameter, the FTP server returns general status information about the FTP server process. This includes current values of all transfer parameters and the status of connections. The status information that is returned depends on the specific FTP server implementation.
