Distributing software using iSeries Navigator

 

You can use iSeries™ Navigator to logically group a number of programs and files on a source i5/OS^® system or logical partition and distribute those objects to one or more target i5/OS systems or logical partitions.

This is the quickest and most efficient way to distribute one or more licensed programs, your own software products, fixes, or user libraries.

• Sending IBM software products using iSeries Navigator
  You can use iSeries Navigator to send IBM^® software products from one i5/OS system or logical partition to another i5/OS system or logical partition.

• Packaging and sending your own software products using iSeries Navigator
  In addition to sending IBM products from one i5/OS system or logical partition to another i5/OS system or logical partition, you can also use iSeries Navigator to package and send your own software products.
