Using the Work with Problems command
With the problem analysis, you can gather more information about the problem and determine whether to solve it or to report it without the help of a hardware service provider.
You can run problem analysis on messages that are highlighted (basic assistance level) or messages that have an asterisk (*) next to them (intermediate assistance level). If you do not see any of these messages, you might not be authorized to the Work with Problem (WRKPRB) command, or the message does not support additional problem analysis.
To run the Work with Problem (WRKPRB) command for messages that are highlighted, follow these steps:
- Select option 5 (Display details and reply) for the message.
- Press F14 (Work with problem).
- Examples: The Work with Problems command
These examples show how to display problem entries using the CL commands.
