Compiling an application program

 

The DB2 Universal Databaseā„¢ for iSeriesā„¢ precompiler automatically calls the host language compiler after successfully precompiling the program, unless the *NOGEN precompiler option is specified.

The compiler command is run specifying the program name, source file name, precompiler created source member name, text, and user profile. Other parameters are also passed to the compiler, depending on the host language.
