Stage two: Create a set of business rules

Create a set of business rules in Personalization. These will be used in Web Content Management to display different views of the "Images" folder.

  1. Go to Launch>Personalization > Business Rules >

  2. Click New>Rule.

    1. Name this rule "Images Ascending".

    2. Ensure the rule type is "Select action".

    3. Create the following rule:

      • Select Documents

      • whose Folder path includes Images

      • order by Name ascending

      • show all items

    4. Click Save.

  3. Click New>Rule.

    1. Name this rule "Images Descending".

    2. Ensure the rule type is "Select action".

    3. Create the following rule:

      • Select Documents

      • whose Folder path includes Images

      • order by Name descending

      • show all items

    4. Click Save.

  4. Click New>Rule.

    1. Name this rule "Date Ascending".

    2. Ensure the rule type is "Select action".

    3. Create the following rule:

      • Select Documents

      • whose Folder path includes Images

      • order by Last modified date ascending

      • show all items

    4. Click Save.

  5. Click New>Rule.

    1. Name this rule "Date Descending".

    2. Ensure the rule type is "Select action".

    3. Create the following rule:

      • Select Documents

      • whose Folder path includes Images

      • order by Last modified date descending

      • show all items

    4. Click Save.
