Copy a category
As a taxonomy evolves, we are required to edit the taxonomy by copying categories from one section of the taxonomy to another. Use the Copy button to copy a category in a taxonomy.
- Navigate to a category list.
- Select a category.
- Click Copy.
- Select a library.
- Select a taxonomy or a category to copy the category under. Items we do not have sufficient access to select are grayed out. If these items have children we can still navigate down to select them.
- Click OK.
What to do next
The children of an item are not copied when copying an item. We must copy any children separately.
