Create an order

Use the Order Management tools to create an order, create a billing address, or create a shipping address.

• Creating an order for a registered customer
  Use WebSphere Commerce Accelerator to create an order on behalf of a registered customer.

• Creating a billing address for an order
  We can create a billing address for an order, and add it to the list of billing addresses for the customer. For a payment method, a billing address is a must. (B2B direct)Depending on the terms that are stipulated in the customer's contract, we might not have the authority to change the billing address for the order, or to create a new one. In this case, the information that is presented on the Billing Address page is read-only.

• Creating a shipping address for a customer order
  If the customer did not specify a shipping address when the order was created, but wants to specify one now, follow these steps. For example, software that is downloaded from the Internet does not require a shipping address; however, if the customer requests a CD-ROM instead, then a shipping address is required.
