Restoring a version of a catalog entry
We can restore a version of a catalog entry. For example, we can create a version before making changes to a catalog entry's description to market it for a promotional event. After the event is over, we can restore the earlier version.
Before beginning
- Create a version that includes the latest changes.
- Preview the catalog entry version we want to restore.
Procedure
- Open the catalog entry version list.
- To restore a version, select the version in the Available versions table, and click the Restore icon
. Alternately, we can right-click a version in the versions list, and select Restore Version.
- Click Yes.
Results
The selected version of the catalog entry is restored. A check mark in the Base Version column indicates the version that was last restored.
