Set up a WebSphere Commerce Developer environment

WebSphere Commerce Developer is the combination of Rational Application Developer and the WebSphere Commerce toolkit. The WebSphere Commerce toolkit provides a test environment and a workspace customized for WebSphere Commerce development.

Coexistence with other versions of Developer is not supported. If we are migrating, install WebSphere Commerce Developer Version 9.0 on a separate machine from our old Developer version.

To develop assets for more than one target application, configure multiple workspaces, by installing WebSphere Commerce Developer multiple times.
