Configure a transport method for the site

Transport methods are configured in the Administration Console.


Procedure

  1. Open the Administration Console and select Site on the Administration Console Site/Store Selection page.

  2. Click Configuration > Transports. The Transport Configuration page displays.

  3. Select the check box beside the method we want to configure.

    1. If the transport we want to configure is inactive,

      1. Select the check box next to the inactive transport.

      2. Click Change Status.

      3. The transport status should change from Inactive to Active.

      4. Select the transport again.

  4. Click Configure. The Transport Configuration Parameters dialog opens. The name of the transport method we selected appears at the upper left of the parameter table.

  5. Type the values to be used by the transport method.

  6. Click OK to accept the changes, or click Cancel to return to the Transport Configuration page.
