Message resend
Site Administrators can use the resend function in WebSphere Commerce to resend messages that are stored in the WebSphere Commerce system.
There are two conditions in which messages can be resent:
- WebSphere Commerce fails to deliver a message and the message remains in the messaging system. The message may have failed to be resent for a number of reasons. Typically these failures occur when a remote server is down for extended periods of time, or configuration has been setup incorrectly. At the time of resending the message, the Site Administrator can modify configuration parameters for the specified message.
- WebSphere Commerce can optionally archive messages after they are successfully sent. These messages are also candidates for being resent. Messages are archived based how the message type is configured. For each message type, the Site Administrator can choose to whether to archive the sent message.
