Troubleshoot
In addition to the logs and trace, messages, and release notes discussed in this section, you can use monitoring tools to figure out issues such as the location of data in the environment, the availability of servers in the data grid, and so on. If you are running in a WAS environment, you can use Performance Monitoring Infrastructure (PMI). If you are running in a stand-alone environment, you can use a vendor monitoring tool, such as CA Wily Introscope or Hyperic HQ. You can also use and customize the xsAdmin sample utility to display textual information about the environment.
