Work with workspace tasks
Access an assigned workspace task changes the context of the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator session so that changes you make affect the workspace to which the task belongs. Menus displayed in WebSphere Commerce Accelerator are restricted to only those menu options that are workspace-enabled.
- Synchronize a workspace
If you are using the sales catalog category linking feature or you are using product sets, updates to catalog categories done through workspaces might cause sales catalogs and product sets to no longer be accurate in the workspace. Synchronize the workspace to refresh all sales catalog category links and product sets in the workspace.
- View workspace task details
You can view workspace task details for active tasks, inactive tasks, or complete tasks.
- Add a comment (Workspace Content Contributor)
Add comments to communicate with other Workspace Content Contributors and Workspace Managers and to track the details of changes you are making when working on a workspace task.

Use comments to communicate with other Workspace Content Contributors, Task Group Approvers, and Workspace Managers and to track the details of changes you are making when working on a workspace task.
- Mark a workspace task as complete (Workspace Content Contributor)
When you have finished working on a workspace task assigned to you, mark the task as complete.
- Approve or reject a workspace task group (Workspace Task Group Approver)
For task groups requiring approval, an approval task is generated when all tasks in a task group are marked as complete.
