Consumer direct order flow process
The order process, from a merchant's perspective, is composed of various steps. The following steps outline the life cycle of an order from placing an order to shipping it to the customer. The order flow process varies depending on whether the store uses the Payments subsystem (introduced in WebSphere Commerce v6), or WebSphere Commerce Payments. The order flow also depends on whether the store uses the ATP (available to promise) inventory system.
- Order flow process using ATP-inventory with the Payments subsystem
The order process, from a merchant's perspective, is composed of various steps. The following steps outline the life cycle of an order from placing an order to shipping it to the customer.
- Order flow process using non-ATP inventory with the Payments subsystem
The order flow process varies depending on whether the store uses the Payments subsystem (introduced in WebSphere Commerce v6), or WebSphere Commerce Payments. The order flow also depends on whether the store uses the ATP (available to promise) or non-ATP inventory system.
- Order flow process using ATP inventory with WebSphere Commerce Payments
The order flow process depends on whether the store uses WebSphere Commerce Payments and also depends on whether the store uses the ATP (available to promise) inventory system.
- Order flow process using non-ATP inventory with WebSphere Commerce Payments
The order flow process depends on whether the store uses the the Payments subsystem (introduced in WebSphere Commerce v6) and on whether the store uses the non-ATP inventory system.
