Changing an existing personalized attribute
You cannot change the name of an existing attribute on the Change Personalized Attribute form.
To change the name of an existing attribute, the existing attribute must be deleted. Create a new attribute with the new name.
Procedure
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- Click Sales > Personalized Attributes. The Personalized Attribute list displays. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator.
- Select the check box for the attribute that to change.
- Click Change. The Change Personalized Attribute form displays.
- Make the necessary changes to the Description Type or encryption parameters.
- Click OK displays a confirmation message.
- Click OK in the dialog box to return to the Personalized Attributes list.
