Import distributor service agreements
Import a distributor service agreement uploads a distributor service agreement in XML format from the local client to the WebSphere Commerce Server and deploys the service agreement in WebSphere Commerce. Note that if you import a contract by using XML, and want to have that contract appear in the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator, then have a contract description.
Procedure
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- Click Channel > Distributors. The Distributors page displays. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator.
- Click New. The import dialog displays.
- In the XML File field, type the full path to the distributor service agreement XML file. You can also click Browse to find the XML file using the Choose file dialog.
- Click Import to import the distributor service agreement from the local client machine.
- If you have more than one XML file to import (for example, you can have XML files containing language-specific information), then repeats the preceding steps to import each XML file separately.
Results
When the XML file uploads successfully, a distributor relationship will be created that respects the terms and conditions defined in the distributor service agreement. In addition, a confirmation message will be displayed once the setup process is complete and the list of distributors will be refreshed showing the newly created distributor. If the status of the distributor service agreement is Deployment Failed when the list of distributors is refreshed, you can attempt to redeploy the distributor service agreement.
