Changing the category for a store
You may want to specify a different store category for the store. For example, if you have a fashion store, but mistakenly specified the store category as Hardware, you can change it to Fashion.
Procedure
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- From the Channel, Extended sites, or Supplier menu, click Stores. The Stores list displays. If you do not see this menu, then the logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact the Site Administrator.
- Select the check box to the left of the store that to work with and click Change Store Category. The Change Store Category dialog displays.
- From the Choose the new store category list, select a category for the store.
- Click Update to change the store category.
