Request that some items ship together

This section explains how to request some items ship together in an order.


Procedure

  1. Log on to the IBM Sales Center.

  2. Select a store.

  3. Create an order or find an order for which to request that some items ship together.

  4. If this order has already been submitted, click Edit.

  5. Go to the Order Items page, and add order items or modify existing items as necessary.

  6. Make sure that Ship when complete is not selected.

  7. For each group in which to tie order items so that they ship together:

    1. To tie items from a single page:

      1. Select the items in the table.

      2. Click the More actions dropdown list.

      3. Select Tie Item.

    2. To tie items from multiple pages:

      1. Navigate to the appropriate page.

      2. Select the items in the table from the current page.

      3. Click the More actions dropdown list.

      4. Select AddToTieContainer. The items are added to a list stored in memory.

      5. Navigate to other pages, adding items to the tie container as necessary.

      6. Open the Tie Container dialog.

      7. Select the items in the table.

      8. Click Tie.

      9. Click OK.

  8. To untie order items from a group so that they can ship separately:

    1. To untie individual items from a group:

      1. Select the items in the table.

      2. Click the More actions dropdown list.

      3. Select Untie Item.

    2. To untie all items in a group:

      1. Select any of the items in a group.

        The items in each group are indicated by a common number in the Tie Item column of the table.

      2. Click the More actions dropdown list.

      3. Click Untie All. This unties all of the items from the current page.

  9. Click Apply and complete any other changes to make to the order.
