Block an order

Automatic blocks can be placed on orders and quotes by the WebSphere Commerce system based on reasons programmed into the system.

You can add manual blocks on an order that has a status of Pending, Pending payment authorization, or Edit.


Procedure

  1. Log on to the IBM Sales Center.

  2. Select a store.

  3. Find the order that to block.

  4. On the Order page of the Order editor, click Block.

  5. On the Order Blocks page, perform the following actions for each block that to add:

    1. Click Add.

    2. Select a reason for the block from the list.

    3. Enter comments in the Comments field.

    4. Click Update.

  6. Click OK.
