Launch the IBM Sales Center development environment
This section explains the steps required to launch IBM Sales Center development environment.
The IBM Sales Center development environment can be launched by selecting: Start > WebSphere Commerce Developer > IBM Sales Center development environment.
To test customizations to the IBM Sales Center, a preconfigured Runtime-Workbench configuration will be available in the Run dialog.
To launch the IBM Sales Center client within the development environment:
Procedure
- Click Run > Run Configurations.
- In the Run Configurations dialog, select Eclipse Application > IBM Sales Center.
- Click Run to launch the application.
Results
In order to log on, we will need to have a running server. This can either be the WebSphere Commerce Server toolkit running on the same or another system, or it can be a WebSphere Commerce Server. The server settings must be configured before you can log on. Administrators can select the Connectivity button on the logon dialog and enter the appropriate host information. If you do not see the Connectivity button, then open the Sales Center in administrator mode.
