Configure an Extended Site

  1. Create stores
    Use the Store Creation wizard to create stores.

  2. Changing store profile information
    You can change general store information, including store name and description, languages and currencies supported, contact and location information, using the Store Profile notebook in the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.

  3. Changing store flows
    You can configure a store to support certain features.

  4. Buyer authority to shop under multiple accounts
    In the advanced B2B direct extended site, and demand chain starter stores, a buyer can shop under multiple accounts. The buyer might be entitled to the contracts of different accounts. This situation is possible if the buyer is given the "Organization Participant" role for the different buyer organizations in which they have associations. This feature can be enabled or disabled using the Change Flow option from the Store menu in WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.

  5. Load catalog data in CSV format
    Before loading catalog data in CSV format, ensure that you create the catalog data in CSV format according to the instructions in Create catalog data in CSV format.

  6. Publish the uploaded catalog CSV data
    After loading the catalog CSV data, you can publish it.

  7. Catalog filtering
    You can access the Catalog Filter from within the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator. You can filter the catalog to a specific set of users and exclude any products in the master catalog that you do not want to sell at the store. Use the Catalog Filter on B2B contracts and hosting contracts.
