Issuing the IBMPayServer command

The IBMPayServer command is used to specify the WebSphere Commerce Payments password used to decrypt any sensitive data that is stored in the database.

The IBMPayServer command is not available in the WebSphere Commerce development environment. WebSphere Commerce Payments is integrated into the WebSphere Commerce test environments provided in the WebSphere Commerce development environment. When you start one of the WebSphere Commerce test environments, WebSphere Commerce Payments is automatically started and the IBMPayServer command is not required.


Procedure

  1. Do one of the following steps:

    • Start a terminal session.

    • Start a Qshell session.

    • Start a command prompt session.

  2. Issue the following command:

    IBMPayServer instance password
    

    where instance is the name of the WebSphere Commerce Payments instance. The default name of the WebSphere Commerce Payments instance is wpm.
